RMI Radio Celebrates 2 Years Of Leading Independent Music

Redwood Entertainment celebrates 2 years of giving the independent recording community a voice. Featuring music by independent greats, such as, Painted on Water (featuring Demir Demikan and Sertab Erener), Fahir Atakoglu, Larry Baeder, Elli Fordyce, Pierre Sibille, John Tropea, and Demian Dominguez, RMI Radio is treating listeners to “real” music.

Since launching during the fall of 2007, RMI Radio has been broadcasting music by “must hear” artists, helping to lead independent music into the forefront of the music industry.

When asked why Redwood Entertainment has ventured into radio despite their busy schedule as a successful marketing, promotion, and personal management company, CEO Janet Castiel says “We wanted to create a platform to promote great independent music, and the talent of the artists that create it.”

Redwood Entertainment has decided not to be genre specific when broadcasting music on RMI Radio. At the risk of sounding cliched Janet says, “Music is the universal language. Good music is good music, and should be heard by everyone regardless its genre.”

Redwood Entertainment has been pushing the boundaries of the entertainment industry since 1983 with innovative approaches to marketing, promotion, and personal management, and continues by giving artists a “no strings attached” way to broadcast their music to RMI Radio’s steady listenership.
